The Haven on the Hill is a private family retreat. It is owned by Jack and Pamela Dent. It was the home of Pamela’s parents, Walter and Pearl Walden. With the help of sister Patti and brother-in-law Bill Nightingale, the structure has been renovated, but retains some of the original features. The kitchen, where Pearl cooked so many great meals for her family, still has the cabinets with matching wood-grain doors and the island in the middle of the room. The living room’s original hardwood floor is refinished, and Walt’s cock-eyed elk horns once again hang above the mantle!
This has been a labor of love that we hope will be enjoyed by our friends and family, and bring back pleasant memories to those who knew it in the past.
